Some flowery mood captured me all of a sudden... though why to be surprised, if you live so close to nature from spring to spring, from morning till night.
Spring... Primula rushes into it with generous joyful stalks of brightest inflorescence like a symbol of push and liveliness, leaving modest snowdrops far behind them.
Rubin poppies! They say these flowers look like drops of blood. What an image, indeed!
Roses...noble, proud, unapproachable roses.. ladies of high class.
Canna - 1t is not a flower, it is a fire-bird! Nothing to add.
One of my favourite flower colours is yellow, but in floristic symbolism the yellow represents faithlessness. Am I doomed for it?
And.. have you ever noticed that forget-me-nots never grow single, on their own? They are tens among tens, all together.
Does it mean they represent a person begging someone 100 times ‘forget me not! forget me not! forget me not..’ or all those unhappy who were left but not forgotten...I wonder.
